My name is KUAL.
I was born in Sudan in 1979. When I was growing up, my parents were farmers and I followed them.In that time no school, hospital for my parents and no vet too for our cattle. We used, tranditional cures to treat our livestock. For example our, cows, sheep and the goats. I could look after our cattle in the forest, then bring them back home at the sunset.
When the civil war occurred, it affected our properties and setback the country. Many people feared for their lives,so they ran away to save themselves from the bad situation. I ran to the Egypt.I caught the trian from Khartoum to the Halfia border with the Egypt, then boat to the Aswan port.It is a big town in the South Egypt.
I made my application to the United Nations but they refused me.I was in Egype for three years and half doing nothing because I had have nothing I hope in my background.Suddently a friend of mine came to Australia and she sent me a form. I quickly filled it and lodged it to Embassy of Australia in Cairo.
Then,my applicated took one year and two months. After that my applicated called from Australia Embassy. I had an interview and I got the visa. I came here on 17/ 3/ 2005.I was excited and amazing because I didn't know if I could get the chance of the most significant like that I got to come to Australia.
I also a non English speaking person in my life. How could I came this country without English? I studeid learning in Perth and I hope, I will be successful because people are friendly now, especially teachers even though I speak with strange embarrassed pronounciation. people still help me.I'm very happy with the way, they treat me.
